North Myrtle Beach is a sunny splash of seaside fun. This stretch of commercial development sits near the North Carolina border at the top of the 60-mile Grand Strand. Most of the year, the city is a low-key family resort, but North Myrtle Beach bursts with visitors during Spring Break, when hard-partying college students flock to town. (If you've seen the movie "Shag," which was filmed here, you know what to expect.) The city offers everything from miniature golf and water parks to bars and bungee jumping -- and the beach isn't bad either!
       North Myrtle Beach comprises four beach communities: Ocean Drive Beach, Crescent Beach, Windy Hill and Cherry Grove. The city itself is a mix of residential neighborhoods, beach homes, motels and hotels, and high-rise condominiums. With nine miles of beachfront and excellent weather, North Myrtle Beach is great for a vacation getaway or a year-round residence.

Location & Recreation

North Myrtle Beach is located on the Atlantic Ocean along the northern coastal section of the Grand Strand. Theaters, shops, restaurants, parks and amusement facilities are available for all ages and tastes. North Myrtle Beach is known for its family atmosphere, with fishing piers, wide sandy beaches and championship golf courses. The coastal city is blessed with sunny weather and warm ocean waters that are perfect for swimming and surfing.




Homes & Pricing

The housing market offers a collection of styles and sizes. Condominiums and townhouses can be found for about $80,000 and run up to approximately $200,000 for properties with additional amenities. Single-family homes begin in the $90,000 for older models with limited space. Newer properties start at about $150,000 and run up to $750,000 for estate homes, some with golf course views. Land and lots are available for custom building.
